Born and raised in Lincoln, Doug moved to Scottsdale, Az in 1978. He received a BS in economics from Arizona State University in 1982. After returning to Lincoln in 1989, he joined the National Bank of Commerce's Private Banking Group. In 1998, Doug joined Pinnacle Bank and has been involved in consumer and mortgage lending for the past 21 years. His outside interests include fundraising for the Food Bank of Lincoln, the Lincoln Symphony, Family Service and Mourning Hope. Doug served for six years on the board of the Community Health Endowment of Lincoln. He has been married to the author and oncology counselor, Pam Sands, for 36 years.
